Born in Hell - My personal story of surviving child abuse
Child Abuse! The words infuriate not only me, but a large portion of society who care about the welfare of children, who care about children, period! There have been many people throughout history that want to see child abuse stopped. Many people have dedicated their lives to helping children, to advocating and public awareness campaigns, to changing the laws and changing the hearts and minds of people about the reality of child abuse, and the fact that people have been abusing and killing children, even their own children since time began.
I have spent years looking at the issues of child abuse, and many years before that trying to cope and heal from the aftermath of growing up abused myself. I have first hand knowledge of what these abused children go through as I was abused in every way possible by my parents and a sibling. I understand what it is to be physically abused, sexually abused, psychologically abused, emotionally abused, verbally battered and neglected. I survived the abuse and that is the very reason why I speak out against all abuse towards anyone!
Join me on this journey, if you care to or dare to. I speak truth about what I suffered at the hands of my abusers and I do not hold anything back. Truth is absolutely necessary if we are ever going to make any headway in stopping abuses and protecting children. In saying that, truth hurts. It is painful for me to relate this information as this is my pain and personal suffering that I choose to share with the world in order that people will know what it is to be so wounded and so twisted emotionally and psychologically and to want to die in order to be free from the pain and memories that I refuse to let go of.
I choose to speak out about the abuse I suffered and the tragic results of the abusive environment that completely devastated my family. I could have easily remained silent after successfully navigating my healing journey and getting help. I could have put it all behind me and walked forward with great joy that I survived, and not only that, but I actually thrived in the midst of all odds against me. I am not the only one who has chosen to not forget my past, not forget the pain, and not forget what I suffered in order to try and wake the world up to the issues that abused children are facing each and every day.
It is my hope that one day all of my work including books published, internet radio shows, not for profit accomplishments and live internet videos will be helpful for the public at large, for social workers, for those in law enforcement, for those who advocate against child abuse, and for survivors who are on their healing journey.
Whatever you do, do not be SILENT! Continue to speak out against abuse and uphold human rights! Never give up! Your voice matters!
